Top 5 Brazil Trips

This post will talk about the top five most amazing places to visit in Brazil, in my opinion. Of course there's a lot more incredible places, but those are the ones I've chosen. Hope you guys like.

5. Bonito 

Bonito is a perfect place for people who like ecotourism. You should visit Lagoa Misteriosa, Sucuri River, the grotto of Lago Azul, Boca da Onça waterfalls and the Anhumas abism. Those are naturally wonderful places.

4. The Amazon Forest

Get to know the Amazon forest, take a boat trip through Rio Negro. Getting into the so called "lung of the world" must be quite an experience!

3. "Desert-like Sand Dunes" - Lençois Maranhenses

The "Lençois Maranhenses" are sort of a desert with dunes up to 40 meters high, with oasis inbetween that colors rang from blue to emerald green. How not to be delighted with such a view? 

2. Jalapão Dunes

It's a set of five preservation areas, that includes a state park with about 34 thousand km². The scenery involves crystal clear watterfalls, natural pools, plateaus and orange dunes up to 40 meters high. Even though, the place is barelly visited. Only 12 thousand people has passed by, since it's inauguration in 2001. It is a expensive trip, but the price is worth it, to go somewhere with so little human intervention.


1. Abrolhos

Abrolhos it's one of the biggest biodiversities of South Atlantic and has the biggest coral reefs of Brazil. It's also chosen by the humpback whales to reproduce and breastfeed. A good ideia is to go scuba diving, considering the rich fauna of the place. The fish approach naturally to you. Abrolhos is in the top of my list, but unfortunatelly it is also on top of the list of places endangered by human intervention.
